Financial Centre

  1. An efficient and robust structural system was devised which utilises an innovative ‘dual’ lateral load resisting system coupled with a ‘hybrid’ floor system.
  2. Optimum combination of pre-cast and post tensioned in-situ floor construction to allow a shorter floor cycle time.
  3. For excavation, an island construction method was devised comprising secant pile walls and deep cement mixed soil and treated perimeter soil berms. 
  4. Multi-level transfer solutions were used at ground and basement levels.

Residences

  1. Adoption of Long Shear Wall coupled with Central Core Wall System to overcome the Tower slenderness and sway and acceleration.
  2. Use of a Flat Plate Floor System with minimal internal beams improved overall structural clearance within units.

  • An efficient and robust structural system that provided exceptional structural performance and extremely efficient concrete usage.
  • Combination of pre-cast and post tensioned in-situ floor construction achieved a high structural CONQUAS score of 96.
  • For excavation, the system devised significantly reduced the quantum and extent of strutting and allowed concurrent excavation and super structure works. 
  • Multi-level transfer solutions allowed bridging of loads over MRT tunnels.

  • Tower slenderness, sway and acceleration was significantly minimised.
  • Overall structural clearance within units was achieved and improved constructability.
